Sahar Baghery graduated from the French National School of Statistics and Economic Administration, the London School of Economics and Political Science, and the University of Southern California. Her career began in London, then Los Angeles (CNN, NBC Universal), and continued in France (Walt Disney Company, CANAL +, Mediametrie, SACD). She joined Amazon and Prime Video in 2018 to lead Worldwide Business Development, then moved to Amazon Studios to lead Programming Strategy in EMEA. Since June 2022, she's heading Content for Prime Video in France.

Fathima is a graduate of the Women In Cable Telecommunications Global Rising Women Leaders Program and holds a BA Degree in Communications from the University of South Africa. Through her work, Fathima strives to cultivate a regenerative culture that resonates globally, ensuring sustainable and inclusive growth for current and future generations.

Sherianne started her career as a gender and development consultant in Maghreb, before cofounding @malfame.cinema , in 2019, an audiovisual production company supporting young creators. Since 2021, she has been fighting against inequalities of accessibility in the audiovisual industry at @francetelevisions, directly on screen, by promoting authentic representations, as well as among creators, by actively supporting and facilitating their access to projects. She also works with MALFAMÉ to raise awareness for careers in entertainment among children of child protection systems, contributing to making the industry more inclusive and accessible. She is also a member of Collectif 50/50, an action group that conducts studies, develops initiatives, creates tools, and proposes incentives to public authorities and various industry stakeholders to accelerate change.

Francis Y. Brown, the visionary founder and creative director of AnimaxFYB Studios, hails from Ghana and stands as an acclaimed filmmaker with a diverse skill set in various cinematic mediums. With over a decade of expertise in the audio-visual realm, Brown has garnered accolades for his outstanding contributions. A distinguished member and esteemed Jury member of the International Academy of Arts and Sciences (EMMY), he further extends his influence as a Jury member at MIPCOM in Cannes. Beyond his impactful roles, Brown shares his wealth of knowledge as a frequent speaker at various film and television forums globally, solidifying his reputation as a luminary in the industry.

With over fifteen years experience in the creative industry, I work in different capacities related to storytelling (showrunner, executive producer, director, writer) with a focus on short-form web series for young audiences.

I use my vast knowledge of YouTube to help brands and IP owners navigate the challenges of the digital space. I am passionate about unconventional stories and formats as well as new technologies. 

Patrick Connolly is an international programming strategist and consultant currently working in the FAST and AVOD space.   Former Senior Vice President of Programming and Marketing for AMC Networks, Connolly was responsible for acquisitions, planning, global programming strategy as well as promotion planning and on-air creative for AMC Global and SundanceTV Global. He oversaw marketing activities for the AMC and SundanceTV brands internationally alongside the company’s locally recognized channels in various programming genres in more than 130 countries.

He has worked previously at Fox Broadcasting and consulted at Showtime, Disney Channel and Telemundo. He also worked as a documentary programming consultant at Sundance Film Festival and as a panels programmer at Outfest and moderator for BAFTA. 

Active in various industry organizations, Connolly served on the board of BAFTA New York. He is also a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS). In addition, he served as Executive Champion in the LGBTQIA+ group at AMC Networks. He is proud to be on the jury of the MIPCOM Cannes Diversify TV Excellent Awards for the third year running.

He has been published in The New York Times and is currently working on his first novel.

Communications & ESG Director of Rakuten TV Europe, DEI expert and activist for campaigns in defense of human and civil rights. She leads the PR and sustainability activities of the streaming platform Rakuten TV across Europe, and she is currently board member of the association for gender equality in entertainment Women in Film, Television and Media, where she co-leads the DEI area.

Fabiana has worked for 20 years in the entertainment and tech sectors for companies such as NBC Universal Global Networks, Mindshare, Publicis, Mosaicoon and Rakuten TV covering communication, sustainability and DEI roles at international level between Europe and APAC.

Within her experience in no-profit, she contributed to the birth and internationalization of the NGO Mediterranea Saving Humans and she is part of Prime Minister, gender equality project for empowering young women.

As Animation Producer and Trainer based in South Africa, Sithembiso joined Tshimologong Innovation Hub, working closely with GOBELINS to develop a unique animation internship program. Hellbent on producing authentic African Animation, Sithembiso Mpehle co-founded Dipopaai Studios and set his sights on re-imagining the African narrative through storytelling. He was subsequently recognised by the Mail & Guardian as one of South Africa’s top 200 young entrepreneurs for his work in the film and media space. He is the Creator and Art Director of Wazis Wonderful World, an award-winning animated series broadcasted on multiple South African television channels, including the SABC and eTV, in partnership with the Department of Health. Wazi’s Wonderful World received international recognition at the Prix Jeunesse 2020, for its positive impact on children’s entertainment during the pandemic. 

Betty Sulty-Johnson is an independent producer and distributor based in Paris (France). She co-founded and co-directed the first festival dedicated to showcasing the work of Black women both in front of and behind the lens from 2005 to 2009 in London (UK).

She worked for France Télévision Distribution, 100% Distribution, Lagardère Studios (now called Mediawan) and Trace Studios where she established a distribution entity specialised in selling Afrocentric content. At Trace Studios, she coproduced an animated series with Côte d'Ivoire called KENDA and a young adult series called ZETWAL and filmed in the French Caribbean in Guadeloupe.

She served for 2 years on the CNC Images de la diversité commission and is now a member of the French Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques (Les César)
